Larynn DeLuca
Ms. DeLuca grew up nearby in Mint Hill, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Appalachian State University, where she studied clarinet with Dr. Douglas Miller. During her time at App State, she performed with the jazz band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, and the Marching Mountaineers.
Ms. DeLuca is passionate about fostering a positive environment where students can develop confidence, leadership, and a lifelong love of music. Since beginning her teaching career in 2017, Ms. DeLuca has dedicated herself to helping students grow both musically and personally. Before joining Sun Valley High School, she served as the band director at Sun Valley Middle School for five years. She is excited to continue building the Sun Valley band program and helping students create meaningful experiences and lasting memories through music.
